Karolinska Institutet Global Masters Scholarship.

Karolinska Institutet offers a handful of tuition fee scholarships to excellent students who have been admitted to one of our Master’s Programmes starting each Autumn semester.

More Details

there are maximum 10 scholarships per year, spread to all the Global Master’s Programmes. The competition is fierce with approximately 1500 international students applying for the scholarship annually.

Program Period

A minimum of one semester of full time study.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

To be eligible for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship you must:

  • have applied to one of Karolinska Institutet’s Global Master’s Programmes starting 2019
  • a Bachelor’s Degree equivalent to a Swedish bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS credits) from an internationally recognized university
  • Master’s Programmes require proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary school courses English 6/English B.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • The KI Global Master’s Scholarship only covers the tuition fee (or part of the tuition fee for programmes only partially given by Karolinska Institutet). Travel, living expenses, and other costs must be met with other funding.

How to Apply

First Step: Find a programme that you wish to study and Check that you meet the specific entry requirements for that programme from here

Second Step: Apply online from here to study in Sweden and submit all documents.

Note: Pay the application fee of 900 SEK (if it applies to you), or submit proof of exemption from the application fee. Please note that University Admissions will not start to assess your documentation before they have received the application fee or the proof of exemption.

Third Step:Submit the required documentation to University Admissions in Sweden. Please check whether you have any documents which cannot be uploaded.

fourth step:Complete the CV form and upload it at your account at UniversityAdmissions.se.

fifth step:Apply for scholarships (if it applies to you). More information on scholarships available for students required to pay tuition fees.

sixth step:Follow your application online by logging in to your account at universityadmissions.se. The selection results will also be published there. If you get selected please remember to accept the admissions offer
