The educational award is available for international students who are enrolled in a secondary school outside Canada and now going to start their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto.

Program Period

Four years.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Undergraduate students entering first year of any program in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.
  • Enrolled in a secondary school outside of Canada.
  • Demonstrated leadership through involvement in the school or the broader community.

Opportunity Cost


  • A maximum of $20,000 x 4 years (renewable).
  • The award may be renewable for the duration of the degree (up to 4 years) provided a minimum average of 75% is maintained.

How to Apply

First Step: It is easy to be a part of this funding opportunity. Candidates have to take admission in an undergraduate degree program within the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto and you must:

  •  evidence of English language proficiency, standardized test results, or other supplemental information. You can see required scores from here.
  • certificate of your previous study at university.

Second Step: After being successfully enrolled in a course, the candidates will automatically consider for the grant, no application is required.
