Students love studying within the beautiful landscaped gardens and lakes that surround the modern University campus. At Park campus students have access to excellent IT and library facilities that are open seven days a week in term time. The School of Media’s industry-standard, specialist facilities are ideal for any creative student.
1. Park Campus
Home to a wide range of dynamic courses including Media, Design, Computing and Advertising, Park Campus brings together students and professionals from a colourful range of creative backgrounds. It boasts the newly-expanded Media Centre, which features a modern animation suite, film and TV studios, and – most recently – a brand new computing and technology suite with access to the latest technology and software. Here, you’ll also find the INTO Centre, along with a selection of student accommodation options, a refectory, subject-specific library, student bar and dedicated ‘Helpzone’. This beautiful campus is set amongst 24 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the delightful town of Cheltenham – making it an idyllic location to live, study and grow.
2. Francis Close
HallSometimes referred to as the ‘Hogwarts’ of UoG, Francis Close Hall is a beautiful campus with historic architecture reminiscent of Harry Potter’s famous school. It’s a truly inspiring place to study, offering a range of courses in Humanities; Education; Natural and Social Sciences; and more. It’s the University’s oldest campus, having been part of the institution for nearly 170 years – so Francis Close Hall students have a lot to be proud of. It’s located just a 5-10 minute walk from Cheltenham town centre, so you’ll be within easy reach of countless restaurants, shops, theatres and more.
3. Oxstalls campus
Offering varied timetables including Sport, Performing Arts and Business, Oxstalls Campus is ideally located just a 15-20 minute walk from Gloucester’s city centre. You’ll have easy access to the city’s vibrant shops, theatres and cafes, making it a dynamic and exciting place to study. Since 2018, Oxstalls has been the proud home of the University of Gloucestershire’s School of Business and Technology – an £18 million development where you’ll find courses in Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Law and Finance. You’ll also find a host of other impressive investments across Oxstalls, including the Growth Hub and a new Performing Arts and Events centre.
4. Hardwick
This campus is home to the Centre for Art and Photography. There are plenty of facilities on campus to support students to explore their creativity, including dedicated studio spaces, a dark room, a processing room, a Mac suite, fine art studios and a sculpture yard.
