The University has almost 2,000 rooms offering a variety of reasonably priced standard and en-suite self-catered accommodation in the city-centre Campus Village.
Each hall of residence is only a few minutes’ walk from the International Study Centre and main University buildings, and all enjoy excellent access to facilities, including the library, Students’ Union and the Sports Centre.
Our Andersonian Library houses around one million print volumes, and you’ll have access to over hundreds of thousands of e-books, databases and ejournals.
Our collection is spread over five floors, throughout which you’ll find a range of study spaces with wifi access so you can use your own laptop or there are computers for your use.
We have a university-wide wifi called eduroam. You’ll use your Strathclyde email address and password to connect to the network, and it’s accessible at universities in more than 50 countries around the world.
Myplace is our Virtual Learning Environment. It’s where you’ll find all your online resources you’ll need for your classes while you’re here. All classes you’re registered for will automatically appear within your Myplace account, and it’ll help you keep track of your work, lecture materials and assignments.

Strathclyde Sports offers a variety of services designed to support you in improving and maintaining your wellbeing. Good wellbeing is about both physical and mental health.
