Have A Dream in Kenya 2019.

Have A Dream is an organization that was initiated in 2014 by a group of young Egyptians who were inspired by the rich experiences they had while traveling and dreamed of giving the chance to the Egyptian youth in particular and youth from all over the world to get out of their cocoon and be introduced to different cultures as well.

They organize cultural, voluntary and training opportunities to provide youth the chance to travel and volunteer in different countries all over the world. Their programs are designed to not only be introduced to different cultures, but they also make sure you share your experiences with others as well as adopt new skills to help you improve and rediscover yourself.

EGYPT, SYRIA, IRAQ, PALESTINE, JORDAN, LEBANON, TUNISIA, ALGERIA, MOROCCO, SUDAN, LIBYA, SAUDI ARABIA, EMIRATES, KUWAIT, QATAR, BAHRAIN, OMAN, YEMEN, SOMALIA, DJIBOUTI, MAURITANIA, TURKEY, IRAN, CYPRUS, COMOROS, & OTHER COUNTRIES ARE NOT FROM THE MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA.

Program Period

Fourteen to thirty days.

The projects are held all year long (January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December).

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  •  Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age restriction
  •  Volunteers are required to have upper intermediate or above level of English
  •  Experience or interest in the field of the project the volunteer aims to participate in.

Opportunity Cost

  • Accommodation: Varies depending on the project. (examples: accommodation with  host families, the school compound, in the centre ..etc)
  • Food: 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Other benefits: – A certificate of Appreciation from Have A Dream.                          – A certificate of appreciation from the host organization.
  • Fees: Total cost: 740$ (13,939 EGP)

How to Apply

Step one: Carefully read the program’s description, make sure that you meet the minimum qualifications and that the program’s time and duration is suitable for you.  Then, proceed to filling the application form. This is the first phase of application. If you pass that phase, you’ll be contacted by our HR via email to schedule an interview.

Step two: you’ll have to show up on time for your scheduled interview, and once again you will be notified whether you are accepted or not via email.

NB: Depending on the program, the organization hosting you abroad might ask for a skype interview with you, in that case you’ll have to pass their interview as well.

StepThree: Once you passed all the phases and interviews, you’ll begin preparing for your trip with our help and orientation sessions would need to be attended with us.
