In Love With Volunteering
Volunteer in Patirciu Slenis which was set up as an alternative to state funded mainstream education. It is based on the philosophy that success doesn’t necessarily just include exams and that schools don’t prepare children and young people for life for rejection, for challenges or self worth.

The centre was founded with the values that all participants -children, parents, teachers and community – can celebrate and nurture their creativity, curiosity, learning and growth. It is very important to mention Patirciu Slenis is a community-based, non-profit organization. They use Waldorf, field/outdoor and other pedagogies as part of their curriculum. It is aspecial Learning home for all, created by parents and teachers and children with their own hands and hearts.

Scholarship covers:

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS:
-Separate room (either flat or a dormitory).
- Transport tickets.
- Monthly allowance is 250 EUR (food & pocket money).

TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT:
– On-arrival and mid-term trainings as well as individual consultations with a mentor throughout the project.
