I AM A WOMAN AND THIS IS MY LEGACY
Laura l. Gallery invites submissions from emerging or professional women artists working across a variety of mediums or disciplines, regardless of subject matter. Whether this is painting, drawing, photography, print, sculpture, 3D work, installation, relief, ceramics or art jewellery – all are welcome and encouraged.
”I Am A Woman And This Is My Legacy” is a new opportunity for unique female talents whose artwork celebrates imagination, innovation and excellence in their medium. The gallery’s vision is to organize a high profile competition on a unique concept: recognizing contemporary female artists for the difference they make in our society and culture.
The project is designed to have a meaningful impact on the career of these extraordinary and talented artists. In addition, the Laura l. Gallery will devote significant time and effort in promoting and selling their work. It will also provide an opportunity for the artists to win amazing prizes that could boost their careers to the next level.

•24th of August 2018: First Deadline for receipt of entries to be included in the Auction
•21st of September the 2018: Main Deadline for receipt of entries
•22nd of September 2018: Notifications will be sent by email to all winning entrants.
•22nd of September 2018: Hi-res images are required no later than this date for catalogue and PR purposes.
•29th of September 2018: Delivery of Artwork to Laura I. Gallery
•4th of October 2018: 18.30 PM: Opening Reception – Announcement of prize winners and special guests: Weston Homes PLC, Creative Barking and Dagenham and Mayor of Barking and Dageham Borough, Sanchia Alasia.
•6th of October 2018 ,1PM: Talk Show
•19th of October 2018 : Final day of the exhibition.
•20th of October 2018: Collection of all unsold work.
This opportunity is open to all women:
- Above the age of 18.
- From any nationality and culture.
- The entries must represent original work that stand as a statement for mastery in their craft. All media and genre of visual art are eligible (abstract, narrative, realism, conceptual, etc) besides video.

Laura I. Gallery will be selecting 40 women artists to exhibit work and win prizes worth up to £2000 sponsored by Weston Homes PLC alongside the chance to have their work auctioned at the Barking and Dagenham Mayor`s Charity Fundraising event on the 14th of September.
- 1st Prize: £1000
- 2nd Prize: £500
- 3rd Prize: £200
- +5 Artists will be selected to have their work Auctioned
First Step: Make the payment and then download the application form.
ENTRY FEE:
- 10 £ for one image.
- 25 £ for three images.
- 30 £ for 5 images.
When emailing images, it is preferred that you include the title, “Women Submission” in the body of the email and attach a 200-word statement explaining the work submitted, along with the completed application form. Please attach images to the email as well in our application form.
