Yale Model United Nations Taiwan

Yale Model United Nations Taiwan is a locally sourced, internationally minded Model UN conference seeking to empower delegates to find their voices, to enrich delegates’ academic experiences, and to give them the tools to excel both during the conference and into the future. In addition to exceptional debate in committee conducted by the best and brightest from Yale, they provide a full selection of programming for delegates and advisors, from admissions panels and workshops to dinners and social events.

YMUNT VI promises to bring roughly 300 delegates from over 3 continents to Taiwan for an intensive three-day conference from the 15th to 17th of March 2019.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • YMUNT strives to reward excellence and dedication to international relations. Students that demonstrate academic achievement and show a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply for the YMUNT Scholars program.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

They are committed to making YMUNT as affordable as possible, and will be channeling all sponsorship revenue into need-based scholarships. YMUN Taiwan is committed to providing educational opportunities for all and hopes to reduce any financial obstacles that may prevent delegates from attending YMUN Taiwan. We are offering financial support for individual delegates in the form of full or partial delegate fee waivers, transport subsidies and accommodation subsidies, which will be given out based on delegate need and the financial aid application.
