Norgs International Independent Festival (NIIF)

The NORGS International Independent Film (NIIF) Festival is an opportunity to present the work of independent filmmakers, independent writers, independent photographers and independent musicians from around the world to introduce themselves to the world.

In the field of art, independent people have always been the founders of different styles and techniques, and Due to the outbreak of Covid 19 disease, the festival will be held online.

  • All films must be presented in their original language, with English subtitles. By "original language" is meant the language in which a film is or will be exhibited in its country of origin (WITHOUT subtitles if the original language is English), All screenplays and stories must be presented in English language. Persian speaking countries can send their Screenplays and stories in Persian language, All photos must have an English name.

  • Films that have been produced during the twelve months preceding the Festival, Films that respect the aims of the Festival, Once a film has been selected it cannot be withdrawn from the Festival programme during the event, Only one film per director is accepted, Films chosen to be part of the Official Selection agree to use the "Official Selection" logotype of the Festival NIIF on all publicity. Moreover, when publicising awards, the award winners and distribution companies agree to use the exact wording of the awards as set out in the logo guidelines of the Festival NIIF, Participation in the Festival NIIF implies acceptance of all the regulations and respect of Preselection conditions, The Festival NIIF accept short films between 1 and 10 minutes. NIIF accept all kinds of styles, Video format requirements: File format: mp4, Recommended codecs: H264 (high bitrate if possible: minimum 2MBit/s and Uncompressed), Resolution: NTSC HD material of 1920x1080px.

  • Screenplays that have been written during the twelve months preceding the Festival, Screenplays that respect the aims of the Festival, Once a screenplay has been selected it cannot be withdrawn from the Festival programme during the event, Only one screenplay per screenwriter is accepted, Screenplays chosen to be part of the Official Selection agree to use the "Official Selection" logotype of the Festival NIIF on all publicity. Moreover, when publicising awards, the award winners and distribution companies agree to use the exact wording of the awards as set out in the logo guidelines of the Festival NIIF, Participation in the Festival NIIF implies acceptance of all the regulations and respect of Preselection conditions, Screenplay requirements: The Festival NIIF accepts screenplays with a maximum of 5,000 words, The Festival NIIF accept all kinds of styles, File format: pdf, Size: Maximum 10 MB.

Moreover, when publicising awards, the award winners and distribution companies agree to use the exact wording of the awards as set out in the logo guidelines of the Festival NIIF, Participation in the Festival NIIF implies acceptance of all the regulations and respect of Preselection conditions, MUSIC DURATION: The Festival NIIF accept music between 3 and 10 minutes. NIIF accept all kinds of styles. File format: mp3, Recommended Bitrate: 320 kbps, Size: Maximum 20 MB.

  • Photos that have been Taken during the twelve months preceding the Festival, Photos that respect the aims of the Festival, Once a photo has been selected it cannot be withdrawn from the Festival programme during the event, Only one photo per photographer is accepted, Photos chosen to be part of the Official Selection agree to use the "Official Selection" logotype of the Festival NIIF on all publicity. Moreover, when publicising awards, the award winners and distribution companies agree to use the exact wording of the awards as set out in the logo guidelines of the Festival NIIF, Participation in the Festival NIIF implies acceptance of all the regulations and respect of Preselection conditions, PHOTO Style: NIIF accepts all kinds of styles.
