Master of Fine Arts (Creative Practice) scholarships

Description

Creative Practice scholarships are available for international students who specialise in Theatre or Film. Students don’t need to make a formal application for these scholarships—assessment is based on merit once we receive your application. Successful applicants for scholarships will be notified with their Offer of Place.

  • An expression of interest—a 500–800 word overview of your academic and professional accomplishments, the reasons for your interest in the programme and any specific areas of film you want to focus on, and your professional goals.

  • Evidence of your proficiency in English.
  • Recommendation letter/Reference Letter
  • Two references or letters of recommendation detailing your suitability for the programme. They should state how long the referee has known you and in what capacity, and cover your: major strengths and weaknesses ability to work in a group environment maturity and discipline.
  • Other
  • A show reel that demonstrates your essential skills and experience in creative practice related to film. Each work in your show reel should state clearly, in a lower third, the name of the film and what your role was in the production. The show reel should be accompanied by a document with further details and blurbs about the works showcased in the show reels. Provide a link to the show reel on Vimeo or YouTube. Show reels should not exceed five minutes.
