Zewil City Undergraduate Scholarship
Zewail City of Science and Technology is a nonprofit, independent institution of learning, research and innovation. The concept of the City was proposed in 1999 and its cornerstone laid on January 1, 2000. After numerous delays, the project was revived by the Egyptian cabinet’s decree on May 11, 2011 following the January 25 Revolution. The Cabinet proclaimed it a National Project for Scientific Renaissance and named it Zewail City of Science and Technology. On December 20, 2012, a special law for Zewail City was granted, allowing students to enroll at its university and Egypt to begin a new era of modern development in scientific research and technological production.

Zewil city Provides a full funded scholarship for any student from the top ten of Thanaweya Amma. Additionally, ant student not able to fund his education. The student have to be full qualified to deserve and obtain the scholarship.

- The online application will start from Sunday 15th April 2018 until Saturday 28th July 2018.
- After submitting the online application, the applicant has to check his/her email immediately to click the verification link, then the applicant will receive the application ID number within a maximum of 5 working days. The applicants will be invited to attend the admissions exams by receiving the scheduled dates of the exams by email. The applicant MUST follow the instructions written in the email of the test date very carefully.
- All applicants must be sure of their ability to pass the exams before the application by checking these links including the exams’ samples and information :
The High School Certificates Requirements:

Thanaweya Amma Certificate (scientific or math section):
Students must have achieved a minimum overall score of 90% after the official release of the final results.

Thanaweya Azharia Certificate:
Students must have achieved a minimum overall score of 90% after the official release of the final results. Religious subjects will not be calculated.

STEM schools (scientific or math section):
Students must have achieved a minimum overall score of 80% after the official release of the final results.

Thanaweya Amma/Tawgihi Certificate from Arab and Gulf Countries (science section):
Students must have achieved a minimum overall score of 90% after the official release of the final results. For Saudi Thanaweya, all applicants must submit a copy of their aptitude test scores in addition to their official final results. Arab Countries Thanaweya is calculated as per the regulations and score calculation rules of the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt.

Therefore this full scholarship is available for ” Any student not able to pay, Any student from top 10 of Thanaweya Amma ”.
All you have to do is to provide a Social status statement that contains the salary of the father and the mother and the various sources of income of the family. Additionally, the costs of the family in various places.

First Step: Please visit thewebsiteto know the minimum requirements of your certificate. If your scores are less than the required, your application will be declined after the review.
Second Step: Please prepare clear scans of the following documents to be attached to your application:
- Copy of your High School Certificate (Egyptian Thanaweya Amma or any equivalent certificate). In case your certificate has more than 1 page, please scan all the pages and save them in 1 file
- Copy of your national ID or passport and birth certificate
- Recent passport photo with a white background
- International standardized English test score (TOEFL or IELTS), if available
Third Step: Please enter a valid and correct mobile number and email address. If the applicant posted a wrong or inactive email address, it will cause a cancellation of his/her application.
Fourth Step: Please make sure that you satisfy all the requirements before applying. The online application is to be submitted only once since submitting multiple applications will disqualify the applicant from the admission.
